solving the Poisson problem
Hi All,
Some of you have asked me about this. If you solve the Poisson problem with the D2z from the compact differences, that may lead to instabilities because it is computed as the product D1*D1. Please use explicit differences for this (using diffmatrix), as in the sample Poisson code that I posted on Friday. The compact differences sould work fine for the transport.
Best,
Luis

final: sample codes
Hi everyone,
I just uploaded some sample codes (Poisson and advection-diffusion equation) that you may find helpful.
Cheers,
Luis
