Demo Day

This Wednesday, the last day of class in 6.813/6.831, we will have a demo day for everybody to see what everybody else did for their group projects.  Please come prepared to show off your group project to your classmates.  You won't have to make a formal demo presentation like you did for GR5, however; everybody will just circulate around the room looking at each other's projects.

The HKN course evaluation for 6.813/6.831 is now available at https://sixweb.mit.edu/student/evaluate/6.813-s2010.  Please fill it out!  Your feedback will help improve the class for next year.

Projector issues

Two quick things:
1) Our projector resolutions aren't that high --- maybe 1024x768ish --- so test your interface on that resolution before coming.
2) We've had a couple groups unable to project at the GR5 because they didn't bring their Mac "dongles" to project to VGA.  Make sure to bring 'em if you need 'em!

GR5 demos tomorrow

We're looking forward to seeing your final demos tomorrow!  A few notes:
  • Your group should all show up at the start of the hour you've signed up for.
  • Make sure your demo is ready to roll as soon as you walk in the door.
  • Five groups still need to sign up for a slot.  Make sure you're on the wiki page.

Please sign up a time slot for your GR5 demo on the Wiki.

Each group will have 10 minutes. All of your group members should come at the beginning of the hour of the session you signed up. Please bring a laptop with your app ALREADY RUNNING. We don't have much time for each group to set up your machine and app.
