Hi everyone,

The final papers are due on Thursday (last day of classes) by 4:30 in accordance with MIT rules.  The hard copy must be submitted in the mailbox outside Professor Ellison's office.  The paper must be submitted with the original draft with her comments, and with a one-page summary of your revisions/changes in response to the comments.

If you would like to request an extension to submit the paper on Friday, you may do so without penalty.  Papers must be submitted in the same way (hard copy in mailbox.)

Hi everyone,

A reminder to everyone that papers are due next Monday, April 30 by 4:30 in Professor Ellison's mailbox.  If it is impossible for you to drop off a hard copy to E52, you can send an electronic copy to all three of us and drop off the hard copy as soon as possible.  A short class to discuss presentations will be held at both 9 and 10:30 on next Monday.  Presentations will be held on May 9 , 14 and 16.

Final grades for the papers will be based on both the quality of the first draft and the rewrite.

Hi,

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend.  A large number of students have still not signed up for the second office hour appointment, which must take place for everyone by this coming Friday 4-20.  We will not be having two appointments with anyone in the last week!  Again, people who have not discussed their dataset and/or empirical strategy with us are encouraged to make earlier appointments; otherwise you will have little time to improve your work based on feedback.

Later this week we will post times for the final meeting, which will be between April 23-27 except for those students that are finishing up this week.
