Apple's "Nike Moment" turns into an "IKEA Moment"
Hi all,
I hope your final exams went well and that you had a good finish of H1. In order to provide you with some interesting reading for your leisure time during SIP/spring break, I have posted a few more news articles on Stellar. For example, Apple's "Nike Moment" seems to be turning into an "IKEA Moment" (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17405011).
Enjoy!
Best,
Caroline

Extension for Group Project -- Wed March 21
It was my greatest pleasure having you in my class and teaching the course 15.223. Thank you for a very enjoyable H1 and for contributing to the learning experience of your classmates.
As promised, I checked with Educational Services and am happy to inform you that I can grant you a (slight) extension for the group research paper. Please submit your paper by Wednesday March 21, 2012 through Stellar and via email. One word of advice, please always indicate your sources to support your arguments and to avoid any risk of plagiarism. I look forward to reading your final papers.
On a related note, I have uploaded a peer evaluation form on Stellar. Please feel welcome to share your teamwork experience with me.
Best wishes and keep in touch,
Caroline

Two additional announcements about assignments.
We will be accepting late submissions for assignments 1 & 2 if i) you joined Wednesday’s class for the first time, or ii) joined last Monday missed Assignment 1 but submitted Assignment 2. Please send the late assignments to Heather by Friday Feb 24, 2012.
Also, for the Group Research Paper you will need to form teams of 3-4 people. You can form groups across sections. Please send Heather and Paul your group names. Also let us know if you don’t have a group or are missing team members and we will try to help with matching.
Have a great long weekend!

15.223 Reading Assignments - Grading
Dear Classmates,As you all know, short reading assignments for the cases are due at 1pm on the days the cases will be discussed. These assignments should be submitted to us through Stellar.
The grading on these assignments is Pass/Fail. We will try to have them graded within 2 days. To see your grade, navigate to the submitted assignment under the "Homework" section within Stellar. If your assignment has been graded, you will see either a P (Pass) or an F (Fail) next to the assignment.
Unless excused by the professor, late submissions will receive an F. If you have trouble uploading your homework, please send us an email with your assignment attached before the 1pm deadline.
