Subject Description:
Introduction to chemistry, with emphasis on basic principles of atomic and molecular electronic structure, thermodynamics, acid-base and redox equilibria, chemical kinetics, and catalysis. Introduction to the chemistry of biological, inorganic, and organic molecules.

Final Exam Location/Time Reminder
Dear Class,Just a reminder, the final exam is tomorrow, Thursday May 24th. It will be held in the Johnson Ice Rink from 9:00am - noon. We recommend you come a little early to get settled.
You must sit with your recitation - the rows will be labeled with the TA names and recitation numbers, so look for the signs. The TAs will also be there if you need help finding your row.
Don't forget to bring your calculator and writing tool. See you all tomorrow, bright and early!

Office Hours & Equation Sheet

Information on the Exam 1 and 2 portion of your final
Exam 1 and 2 material (lectures 1 -18) will make up 100 points of your 300-point final exam. The format for this portion of the the final will be identical to that of Exams 1 and 2, and the best way to prepare is to review your exams, the exam 1 and exam 2 practice exams, and problem sets 1 through 5.
In addition to the TA office hours on Wednesday, I will have pre-exam office hours on Monday from 3-4:30 in room 56-502.
