Hi All,

Solutions to the problems in the Final Review Packet have been posted for your reviewing pleasure.  Best of luck on your final preparations!

I also wanted to remind you of how much we would appreciate knowing what you thought of 6.003 this semester.  If you haven't done so already, please do take a moment to give us some feedback via the Online Course Evaluations (http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation).  The deadline to do so is 9am tomorrow morning!

Thank you!

Final Notes

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to take a second to congratulate and thank you all for an excellent semester in 6.003.  It has truly been a pleasure, and I hope you got as much out of the experience as we did.  That said, there are still a few things that need to be done before we officially wrap up.

As a reminder, your friendly TA's will be holding a final office hours/review session this coming Sunday, May 20, in 32-044 (office hours location) from 4-7pm.  Bring any questions you might have about the course material. And for those of you who have not noticed, a final exam review packet was posted last week.

We have also decided to release the final exam and its solutions from when this class was taught in Fall 2008.  Feel free to use these problems as an aid for your preparations - you may have already done some of them in a previous problem set - and we would be happy to go over any of them during the review session.  One important thing to note is that the 2008 final allowed the use of calculators; however, our final exam will not allow the use of calculators.

Lastly, we do very much appreciate getting feedback regarding your respective experiences in 6.003.  If you haven't done so already, please kindly take a moment and leave some comments on the Online Course Evaluations (http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation).  Thanks so much!

Cheers,
Stephen

Course Evaluations and Final Review Session

Hi there,

Just wanted to reiterate that Online Course Evaluations are now open and can be accessed via (http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation).  If you could take a few minutes to leave some comments about your 6.003 experience and helpful feedback for the teaching staff, we would really appreciate it!

Also, your friendly TA's will be holding a final review session/office hours on Sunday, May 20, from 4-7pm in the usual location (32-044).  Please come with any questions you might have about anything related to the course material.  A number of review problems will be posted by tomorrow to aid in your preparations.  Best of luck!

Problem Set 9, problem #8

My apologies; I overlooked the fact that parts (f) and (g) of problem #8 (on Problem Set 9, due tomorrow) require knowledge of the z-transform, which we have not yet covered in class.  Please disregard parts (f) and (g) of problem #8; only parts (a-e) will be graded.  Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
