quiz 2
If you have not received a separate email, that means I do not believe you wish to have a delayed quiz, most likely because I have lost your email earlier. So please send a note to me if that is the case. We are trying to have a delayed quiz on Tuesday afternoon.
I want to emphasize that I am seriously making the quiz an 1.5 hr exam. If you can finish in that time, it would be the best. However, as we never believe in time pressure, I am willing to stay longer so you can do the problems in a relaxed way. Moreover, we schedule the quiz in an evening to help some people to be able to start traveling earlier. I understand this might cause stress for some others, as everybody has different schedules. So I am offering the option to take a delayed quiz. If you cannot make on Tuesday either, we can have another delayed quiz, and so on. Please feel free to take advantage of that, and choose the best option for yourself. The only thing I ask is you should let me know if you do not plan on coming on Thursday evening.
In case I don't get to say this later, it has been a fun semester working with you guys, and good luck for the quiz.

Lecture Notes 8 and 9
I have just posted chapter 8 and 9. Out of these, chapter 8 is not required. Only Mina covered some of that in recitations. Everything in Chapter 9 regarding detections will not be covered. We will mostly focus on analyzing the performance as an example of random walks.
I will print Chapter 9 and distribute copies of that when we get there. I will not print Chapter 8 though. So if you need that for a reference, you can use the file posted here.

Leture notes 6,7
I have posted chapter 6 and 7, separately. I don't see any reason for you to print these, since printed copies of chapter 6 would be distributed on Wednesday, and chapter 7 would probably see some more editting from Bob before we get there. Just in case you need a soft copy.
