Materials Available for Pickup

Hi class,

I hope the end of the semester faired well for you all. Quiz 2 and the design project are graded and will be available for pickup.

I will be in my office (10-061) for a majority of the day tomorrow starting at 9 am. Please feel free to stop in and collect any graded assignments or missing lecture notes. If you can't pick them up tomorrow, shoot me an email to let me know when you think you will be able to stop by.

End of Term Logistics

Hi Class,

I had a pleasure working with all of you this past semester. You made TAing quite enjoyable! Just to wrap up the end of the term, there are a few last reminders and announcements.

1) If you have not already, please turn in your final design projects by tomorrow. You may leave them on my desk in 10-061 if I am not around.

2) Sorry if you have gotten a million emails about this, but please fill out the course survey. You can find it here: http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation/
The comments that you leave will be helpful for future semesters of this class. For example, a previous TA told me that students did not like that the homework grades were out of 10 points so I made them out of 100 points instead. I'm sure this has helped all of your grades. You could also suggest ice cream flavors or toppings for next year! As of now, only about 1/3 of the class has filled out the survey. Let's make it 100%!

3) We will try to have quiz 2 and the design projects graded as soon as possible. I will send out another email when they are available for you to pick up. Also, if you haven't collected all of your problem sets or if you missed some lectures, you can also pick those up.

Nerd Event on Friday

This is just a friendly reminder about our nerd event that will take place instead of class on Friday. We will be showing a PBS documentary entitled "Tesla: Master of Lightning" and there will be delicious pizza provided. The event will take place in room 32-141 at 1 pm.

If you would like to attend, please let Alexandra (awest@mit.edu) know by TODAY, so there will be enough pizza. Also, feel free to invite a sufficiently nerdy colleague or significant other, but please keep Alexandra informed of the head count.

Also, don't forget there is a quiz tonight! See you all there.

Office Hours and Quiz Room

For those of you who were not in class today, there will be office hours from 3-5 pm today and 3-4 pm tomorrow in 24-310.

The quiz will be tomorrow at 7:30 pm in room 4-370 (yes, there will be ice cream).

Friday's class will be replaced by a nerd event (with pizza!)

Review Reminder

This is just a friendly reminder that we have a quiz review tonight at 7:30 in room 32-124.

All of the problem set solutions are posted. If I get my act together, I might have your problem sets 9 graded by the end of tonight's review session (but no promises...).
