1.011  Project Evaluation

All,

Several announcements as we wind our way towards the end of the class.

• First, presentations begin tomorrow. PDFs of all presentations (I suggest 2 slides/page) are due by class time. I have posted separate locations for all groups to submit both this presentation and the final paper. The presentations should be posted by class time.
• The final paper is due at 11:59 on Friday the 17th.
• For the presentations, we would note that we expect all group members to present.
• We would also note again that each class member will be expected to produce a short assessment of one of the presentations. So, as with all of us, you can look forward to beginning to take the presentations in.

Please let me know if you have any last questions! We look forward to seeing the first three projects tomorrow.

A few reminders before our class tomorrow. Please ensure you prepare accordingly:

• Read the paper called The use and abuse of scenarios by Charles Roxburgh
• Bring your laptop to class
• Bring your Midterm exam for reference

As discussed today in class, there have been a few changes to the course schedule and lecture plan based on last week's impacts and our overall progress. To remind you, here are the items we currently are rearranging:

• P3 will now be due on Sun. evening (the 28th) at 11:59 PM
• Thursday's lecture will be on Scenario Planning, with the participatory class on Scenario Planning to follow on Tuesday.
• There will be no Assignment 3.1*. However, we will expect you to read a paper on scenario planning prior to that Tuesday class. This paper is called The use and abuse of scenarios by Charles Roxburgh and has been posted to Stellar.
• Recitation on Friday will focus on reviewing these concepts and as well providing any assistance desired for the P3 submittal.
• The next course on Thurs. the 2nd will also be a participatory course, which we will prompt you further on prior to then.

Just a reminder to all groups. P2 is due Tuesday. Certainly let us know if you have any questions as you're formulating your stakeholder analysis.

And as well, I wanted to note that it is not due until 11:59 PM on Tuesday. As such, you can use the class to ask any final questions, should need be.
