Last Class Reminders

Hi guys,

Last class on Wednesday! Reminders for class tomorrow.

1. Your final business plans are due in hard-copy form at the beginning of class this Wednesday. That means print it, staple it, put your full names and team names on it, and hand it to your TA when you walk into class. We will not accept late copies.
2. We've received a lot of questions regarding the final length. As it mentions in the syllabus: "The business plan should be no more than 20 pages single-spaced with half-inch margins, including all appendices, charts, graphs, exhibits, etc." If you have an extra page for table of contents or title, that's fine. There's a lot of content so we suggest you write this using Microsoft Word instead of trying to write an extremely succinct 20 slide PowerPoint.
3. Bring your laptops on Wednesday to complete your 15.390 course eval.
4. We have a number of assignments (including graded Take an Entrepreneur to Dinner) as well as lab notebooks that have not been claimed yet. They are all in your TA's mailbox. Please pick up ASAP as anything unclaimed will be thrown away on June 1.
5. Teams presenting for Wednesday - please send your slides to your TA by noon tomorrow.

Cheers,
Madeline + Phil

Wrapping up the semester!

Hello everyone,

The semester is quickly coming to an end and we wanted to share some notes on what is happening in New Enterprises between now and our last class on May 15.

1. Lab notebooks - We will be reviewing lab notebooks in class this Monday and Wednesday (May 6th and 8th). Please bring your lab notebook to class and ensure that your lab notebook has your full name in it. Leave it with your TA and we will have it at the end of class for you to pickup.
2. Executive Summary re-write - This is an optional exercise and conforms to the same requirements as the original Executive Summary assignment. We will take the top grade of your original and re-write, should you choose to resubmit. The executive summary re-write is due tomorrow, Monday May 6 in hard copy in class.
3. Take an Entrepreneur to Dinner - This is an individual assignment due Wednesday, May 8 in hard copy in class. There are no extensions on this assignment.
4. Final team presentations - A total of 13 teams will present in each section - 7 teams on the Monday, May 13 and 5 teams on Wednesday, May 15. Your TA will contact you if your team is selected to present.
5. Final course feedback - Course feedback will be done electronically this year. Therefore, please make a note to bring your laptop to class on Wednesday, May 15.
6. Please do all of your surveys. As mentioned at the start of the semester, the participation surveys feed into your participation grade.

Looking forward to seeing you and your lab notebook in class tomorrow.

Your TAs,
Madeline + Phil
