Important E-Lab Schedule Change ­ MIT Celebration of Entrepreneurship

E-Labbers,

There is both an important change in the E-Lab Schedule and an important event to highlight.

On Thursday, April 11, the Trust Center hosts the annual MIT Celebration of Entrepreneurship 2013 in the Faculty Club. This is a great annual event, and is a wonderful opportunity to network and integrate with the MIT Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. We would like to strongly encourage all E-Lab students to participate in and attend the MIT Celebration of Entrepreneurship 2013. Students can volunteer and attend the event by contacting Adam Cragg at the Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship (acragg@mit.edu). This is both an excellent networking opportunity and, through volunteering, a great chance to directly contribute to the MIT Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.

The one wrinkle with this timing is that this date had been scheduled to serve as the date for the Interim In-Class Presentation. We will move that back one week until Thursday, April 18, which should give each time an additional week to continue to work on their project and sharpen their recommendations. Concretely, this means that the Interim In-Class Presentation has been rescheduled for April 18. Jim and Scott will both be available to meet on Thursday, April 11, in the afternoon for any teams who would like feedback at that point, and I will also reserve time on the morning of Friday, April 12 for E-Lab meetings if that would be helpful.

The enclosed revised syllabus spells out these changes in the schedule. Please do not hesitate to contact Scott, Jim or myself with any questions, and hope you are all having a great SIP and Spring Break!
