Final exam syllabus and semester wrap-up
Dear students,
Here are some important information for the final exam and the end of the semester:
Syllabus for the final exam: Because of the missed lectures this semester, the final exam on Wednesday will cover only what everyone expects. This will be Chapters 2 to 6 and Sections 8.2 (Graphs) and 8.3 (Markov Matrices).
Extra Office Hours: The following office hours will be held in preparation for the exam.
Jenn: Monday 7-9pm, Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm
John: Monday 3-5pm, Tuesday 3-5pm (tentative)
Russell: Tuesday 2:30-4:30pm
Vinoth: Sunday 10am-12pm
If you have been excused from an exam: you should have let your recitation leader know about your excuse, as well as the course administrator. If you have not done so, please forward the appropriate documentations to your recitation leader and to me to facilitate the grade assigning process, and to minimize the risk of an error.
Course evaluations: course evaluations are due on May 20. If you have not yet done so, please complete the course evaluations at
http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation/evaluate.html
Good luck with the exam preparations!

Dear students,
You will be tested up to SVD in the course syllabus -- remember also that the exam is cumulative! In particular, Fourier series, linear transformations and topics in linear programming are not tested.
