Information: 

This subject is aimed at students with little or no programming experience. It aims to provide students with an understanding of the role computation can play in solving problems. It also aims to help students, regardless of their major, to feel justifiably confident of their ability to write small programs that allow them to accomplish useful goals. The class will use the Python programming language.

The course forum on Piazza is a public forum for discussing questions about the assignments. This is a good place to exchange thoughts and get helps from your classmates and the course staff.

Please avoid giving away any part of a solution about the homework directly in your Q&A on Piazza.

Solution for practice exam 1 updated

Sorry we have made an mistake in the solution for practice exam 1.
We have uploaded a corrected version on Stellar.
The answer to Question 3 has been changed.

Practice Final exam solutions updated

Dear all,

The solutions for the two practice final exams has been posted on Stellar.

The solution for practice final 1 has just been updated, with some minor changes to problems 5 and 8.

Topic List

The topic list for the final is now available with the other final materials. It includes the topics covered in last night's review session, as well as a summary of what you're responsible for from the rest of the class, and is a good outline for your cheat sheets.

A minor bug in final code

There was a minor bug fixed in the code given for the final a few hours ago. If your copy is stale, please download the new version.
Additionally, we posted a zip file containing both the .py file and .in file if you had troubles downloading them separately.
