Final Grades and Seeing Exams
Hi all,Final grades have been submitted to the Registrar’s Office and should be available in WebSIS.
If you would like to see your final exam you should contact Derek (derekaylward@csail.mit.edu) to arrange a time. You can look through it, but cannot take it.
Lastly, congratulations on completing 6.046! We loved teaching it, and hope that you too enjoyed the material and the class. Have a wonderful summer!
Best,
The 6.046 Staff

Final Exam Grades and One Last Assignment
Hi all,Grades for the final exam are now available in Stellar’s Gradebook. The mean is 91 out of 180, the median is 92, and the standard deviation is 28.
We ask just one more thing of you: please go to the Stellar Gradebook (not the submissions page) and check that your pset grades account for any unusual circumstances or “exceptions” you notified us about. For example, if you submitted a pset late but received an approved extension, your grades should not be zero for those problems. Similarly, if you received an approved excusal from a problem the grade should read “Excused.” If you notice any mistakes in your grades, please send an email to 6046-tas@mit.edu *by midnight tonight* detailing why you think your grade is incorrect. Note that this only concerns administrative matters; we will no longer be regrading problems.
Final letter grades will be determined and submitted in the coming days. At that point, we’ll send out information about how you can see your graded final exam.
Good luck finishing up the rest of finals week!
Best,
Hayden, on behalf of the 6.046 staff

Final Exam Information, Review Session, and Evaluations
Hi all,The final exam will take place on Monday, May 19, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm in Johnson Track. It will start on time, so you should arrive early.
Books, notes, calculators, etc. are not allowed. However, you may bring three 8.5” x 11” crib sheets. You may use both sides and you must handwrite them. Of course, you may reuse your sheet from Quiz 1.
The final is cumulative and will therefore include topics from the entire semester. Its format is similar to that of Quiz 1.
We will hold a review session for the exam on Saturday, May 17, from 3 to 5 pm in 26-100.
Additionally, our evaluation response rate is currently low. Please keep in mind that your feedback can help improve teaching and guide decisions in future semesters of 6.046. We ask that you take a minute to evaluate the class: http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation
Good luck studying!

Office hours; Picking up quiz 2; Grading question deadline
Hi all,First, this is a quick reminder that problem set 5 is due Friday night. We’ll be holding the usual MWF office hours this week:
Monday May 5, 4-6pm, in 38-166 -- Hayden, Kang
Wednesday May 7, 4-6pm, in 34-303 -- Dawsen, Ofir
Friday May 9, 4-6pm, in 34-303 -- Ofir (4-5), Shalev (5-6)
While we anticipate most questions to be about pset problems, you’re of course welcome to come with general questions about course material. We’ll also be holding plenty of office hours next week to help you prepare for the final.
You may pick up quiz 2 in office hours on Monday or in lecture on Tuesday. Because some of you have not yet picked up the quiz, you may take until Tuesday evening to send your graders any questions or concerns (i.e., an extra day from what we originally stated). Please read Ran’s email, sent yesterday, before doing this.
Best of luck finishing up your last 6.046 pset! You’re almost there!
-Hayden
