Feedback and grades for the final project are in Stellar

Hi all -

Final grades were sent in to MIT admin earlier this week but we've just now been able to post our feedback and your grades for the final assignment to Stellar. We had a wonderful time working with you all this semester and hope to see you in our other game development courses.

We also hope to see some of your game designs submitted to the Boston Festival of Indie Games (there's still about a week left to submit your rules). Follow up with Rik (reberhar@mit.edu) if you have any questions about the Festival or our other courses.

Boston Festival of Indie Games - Rules submission deadline June 6

Hi everyone! Yesterday I mentioned that the Boston Festival of Indie Games will be back on the MIT campus in September. If you're interested in submitting your tabletop games, do note that the deadline for rule-sheet submissions is June 6. From what we've seen in previous years, the work you've done in this class definitely has a shot of getting in the next festival (although it depends on the competition this year, of course). Also note that there's a $11.24 submission fee.

Please help us evaluate CMS.608!

Spring 2014 end-of-term subject evaluations are now open until Monday, May 19. (Surveys will close at 9 am.)

It would be very helpful for the MIT Game Lab if you could complete an evaluation for this class. The feedback is tremendously useful for us to keep improving the structure and content of the class in future years. The instructors will also leave the classroom at 3pm on Wednesday May 14 (the last day of class) so that students can complete evaluations on their laptops in class if they prefer.

For questions or technical problems, contact se-help@mit.edu.

Thank you!

Grades for Assignment 1 are up

Hi folks. Thank you for your patience; grades for Assignment 1 are finally available. Kudos to Rik for doing everything possible to accelerate the grading process and apologies from Philip introducing all the delays.

You'll find your aggregate grade for everything in assignment 1 (change log, project, and individual writeup) in the Individual Writeup page of the Homework section on Stellar.

As a side note, the syllabus has been updated to reflect some changes to Assignment 3, which has also been updated on Stellar.
