Final Yo-Yo Presentation Upload available

Hi All,

Please have one member of your yo-yo group upload your presentation slides by Wednesday at 11am so that we can put them on one computer for the final presentations during class.

They should be uploaded on Stellar under the Materials tab, then Yo Yo Presentations.

Final Presentations May 13

Hi All,

As you may have noticed on the syllabus, we will be having final Yo-Yo presentations next week, May 13, during lecture. You will also be peer-grading these presentations. Please see the document on Stellar about what you will be evaluated on, under General > Final Presentations. You only have FIVE minutes for your presentation, and you can decide if each member will speak or if you will have a smaller number of presenter(s). Focus on the tradeoffs of Cost, Rate, Quality, and Flexibility in addition to the categories on the grade sheet.

Schedule Update

Folks:

Owing to a scheduling mistake on my part, the lectures for this week will be reversed. Today we will hear from Prof. John Hart on Additive Manufacturing and Wednesday will be Prof. Tim Gutowski on Environmental Issues in Manufacturing.

Two very timely topics...see you there.
