Typo in the Final Practice Questions (Fall 2015)

Hi All,

There are two typos in the practice final I (Fall 2015):
1. question 1 part L, the adjusting entry for (b) (page 5). Credit entry for Discount on Bond should be "766.40," not 66.40.
2. question 6 part a, the least profitable company should be Merck, not the underlined Amgen.

Hi All,

Exam 1 Details

Hi all,

Some details about the forthcoming first midterm:

1. Exam 1 will be an hour long and largely multiple choice. The questions are similar in spirit to those in the psets and involve both calculations and interpretation based analysis. You will take the exam using the myBusinessCourse platform. Once you open the exam, the system will automatically submit the exam after 60 minutes. While the exam is effectively open book, you should prepare with the expectation that you probably won't have enough time to constantly refer back to class materials.

2. The exam will be available from 12:01AM on Wed March 2 until midnight Sunday March 6 (i.e. end of day Sunday). I have posted additional practice questions and solutions on Stellar.

3. We'll have an exam review session on Tuesday in class. I will stay after class to answer any questions you may have.

Additional Practice Problems in Chapter 6

Dear Students,

The additional practice problem E6-34 has some error. So instead of doing that problem, please do E6-37 part a. I have updated the solutions to reflect this change.
