Final Project Reminders

1.) Write-ups due in HARD COPY at beginning of class on Monday.

2.) Slides due at NOON on Monday. Email to me and TAs.

3.) Everybody needs to be PREPARED to present on Monday. Volunteering groups go first, but then we select at random. Big cash prizes for the best pitch!

4.) Presentations are not part of project grade but class participation still counts next week.

Volunteers for presentations

Quick reminder to email us if you'd like to volunteer to present your final project next week! Everyone needs to be ready to present, but the actual presentation is not graded and should be super relaxed. Please let us know by the end of the day on Wednesday.

Final Project Logistics

I wanted to let everyone know what the logistics will be for the final project deliverables.

1.) A single hard copy of your team’s project write-up is due at the beginning of class on Monday May 9.
2.) A single electronic copy of your team’s presentation slides is due at NOON on Monday May 9. This applies to both sections because I will have all presentations loaded on my computer in advance to minimize transition time between presentations. Please email the slides to me and the TAs.
3.) Teams who volunteered to present will be selected at random so all teams must be prepared first thing on Monday May 9. If not enough teams volunteer to present, TAs will select teams at random so all teams must be present.
4.) Presentations are 6-8 minutes in length with a few minutes after for questions. Do not try to summarize your entire write-up in this time. Just provide one or two unique insights about your company along with a buy/sell/hold recommendation.
5.) Presentations are not graded, but we will still be recording class participation for questions and comments. Not all team members are required to say something during presentations. For example, teams can designate a single person to present.
6.) If you are a team split across sections, the section with the most people will be where you present. If class conflicts prevent everyone from attending, that is fine.
7.) Prize to the team in each section on Monday and Wednesday who the class votes as having the best pitch.

If you have any questions about any of the above, please feel free to contact me or the TAs. We are also available all week to answer any last minutes questions on your projects.
