Quiz II Pickup
Dear Class,With everyone having taken then second exam yesterday, all quizzes are graded and ready for pick up. Please check in with the Daves in the Shop during their normal hours. (ie. before 4pm)
If you have any concerns regarding the Quiz, please email the TA's before the end of next week, but the sooner the better. (Problems 1,2,3 to Jay and problems 4 & 5 to Josh).

Course Grades Check
Dear Class,Please check over your grades in the grade-book module. Please email the TA's if you believe there is an error. Please try to do this BEFORE Thursday morning. All graded materials will be available in the Graded Box in the Shop by 2:30. (Only HW7 & 9 are not already there). If you have a miss-reported grade, please snap a picture of the graded report, and include it in the email.
I will hold office hours from 11:30 - 1 on Wednesday, if you would like to meet in person, location TBA.
These grades (and mainly the weights) are not final. Lowest quiz and lowest homework's have not been dropped. Weights are not finalized, but will be very close to those listed (these rough weights are easily derived from the Syllabus that has been available since the beginning of the semester).
NOTE- You have not had your Quizzes handed back, although your grades are posted. Stay tuned for for when you can pick them up. At the very least you can look over your exam tomorrow after the lecture during office hours.

Yo-yos and Course Evaluation

I want to remind you that the 2016 end-of-term subject evaluations are now open. We encourage you to complete the survey before Monday, May 16 at 9am when they close. Here's the link:

I have a strobe light tachometer if anyone is so inclined to see how fast your yo-yo spins. Unfortunately there won't be time during presentations, but you may come by the shop any time before then to test your skill.

Sheet Metal Lecture on Monday
Dear Class,Monday's lecture on Sheet Metal Forming will be given by Professor David Hardt.
Prof. Hardt has 4 mini videos on the topic that were made for MITx, which are linked below. Any pop-quiz questions asked at the beginning of class on Monday, will ONLY be selected from the material covered in those videos. Therefore, although reading Chapter 16 (and to a lesser extent, chapters 13-5) is definitively to your benefit, at the very least I recommend watching Prof. Hardts videos (10 min each).
