Final Exam

The final exam is 3 hours - at 9.00 am at ESG

It will cover all the material done since the begining of the term. No interference and Diffraction.

Main topics to review:

1. Calculation ef E-fields, particularly Gauss's law. See review of Gauus's law for exam 3.

2. Conductors - Properties.

3. Calculation of electric potential

4. Calculation of B- field (Ampere's law and Biot Savart)

5. DC circuits (charging and discahrging capacitor, increasing decreasing current in inductor)

6. LC Oscillators - conceptual

7. AC circuits. Conceptual questions. Able to extract info from given condictions, graphs, black boxes..

8. Fraday's law

9. Poynting vector calculation and its physicsl meaning. (Problems 1 and 2 of week 14 are good example)

10. EM waves. Being able to represent them mathematically. Poynting vector. Radiation pressure.
