14.33 Students,

I wanted to remind you of a couple of things as the semester winds down:

1. We have one more presentation session, Wednesday morning at 9am. We have 5 presentations scheduled, so we will run a bit past the scheduled end-time of 10:30. Sandwiches will arrive around 10:45.

2. The rewrites are due on Thursday. Be sure to give me the following items in hard copy: first draft with my hand-written comments, final draft, and a page describing how you addressed my comments. The page can be in the form of bullet points, if that's the most convenient form.

3. The presentations today were very good, and I'm looking forward to Wednesday. Overall, you guys have been a fantastic class!! It's been a real privilege working with you.

As we’ll have five presenters on Wednesday, that class will likely end a tad after 10:30 (possibly around 11am).

14.33: papers revised by Sara are available in her mailbox

***MESSAGE FROM SARA BELOW***

14.33 students,

I really enjoyed reading the papers---it's clear that lots of hard work went into them! Hard copies with my comments written on them are now available to be picked up. I will leave them in a folder in the mailbox on my door. Your final grade on the paper will be based both on the quality of the draft I just read and on your responsiveness to my comments (essentially the quality of the final draft). Note that I have not assigned letter grades at this point, though. I have only given comments to guide your revisions. If you want some idea of where you stand in the class based on your first drafts, you can stop by next week and I can probably give some indication.

I will be available to discuss your drafts on Monday from 1-2 and on Tuesday from 2-3. Feel free to stop by during those times, although meeting with me is not required.
