Exam #3 results for 5.111
You should have received your graded exam #3 in your
recitation on Thursday. If you were unable to attend your
recitation, you can pick up your exam by going to the Chemistry
Education Office (6-205).
You should compare your graded exam to the answer key that is posted on the exam page but please do not write on the exam until you are sure it is correctly graded. If you think that you were misgraded, you can request regrade. Attach a separate sheet onto the front of your exam indicating which question you would like us to regrade. Just remember that we can take a look at the entire exam, so your grade could go up, down or stay the same. The regrade requests need to be into your TA no later than Monday May 1st at noon (class time).
For this exam, the approximate letter grades are:
A: 93+
B: 81 to 92
C: 66 to 80
D: 56 to 65
F: 55 and below.
It is important to take a look at the total of all three exams to see how you are progressing in learning the course material. There is still a 300 point exam that needs to be done as well as a couple more problem sets, more pre-lectures and attendance points available for total grade contribution.

Update to Review Slides
There was a mistake in the review slides--on slide #16, the last line should have said "In hexanes" not "In water." Updated slides have been posted.Announced on 24 April 2017 7:01 p.m. by Alexandra R McIsaac
