Presentation Order & Details

Hi Modern Org Managers,

Hard to believe the final week of class is upon us. Please see below for presentation order, which was randomly assigned. Send a copy of your final slides by email to Prof. Gibbons by 9am on Tuesday, March 13th (regardless of your team's presentation day).

Some guidelines: each team will have 10 minutes to present (which may mean that some of you need to prune your slides a bit). You will get 5 minutes for Q&A - note that this means those of you in the audience should be thinking of good questions to ask as your classmates are presenting!

Tuesday:

Suchard Qualtrics & Other Announcements

Office Hours and Slide Reviews

Hi Modern Org Managers,

Professor Gibbons has made time on Wednesday afternoon to do a preliminary review of slides with teams who would like additional help shaping their projects. Please sign up on this google sheet for a 15-minute session. Send a copy of your slides by email to Prof Gibbons by 12pm on Wednesday, and note that the official due date for drafts slides is still March 8th at 1pm even if you do a preliminary review.

Notes on Exec Summaries & HP Qualtrics

Hi Modern Org Managers,

Thank you for all handing in your executive summaries on time! A couple of notes for upcoming executive summaries:
1. There is an action question in the syllabus (and slides) for each case/ES, named the "key question". Please take a stand in response to that question and defend it, including implementation hurdles and trip wires.
2. Exec summaries should fit on one page - as such, no need to summarize the case, include the question, etc.
3. See syllabus page 8 for additional details about format and structure.
4. See stellar for examples of excellent exec summaries.
5. Reach out to me with questions not answered by any of the above.
