Additive manufacturing - no lectures this week

Dear all,

We will not have lectures this week— after looking back at the schedule, it’s clear that we've had more than enough meetings to justify the 6-unit course, and I would like to give the rest of you as much time as possible to complete your projects. I apologize for the schedule changes but hope the extra time will be well-received at this busy time of the semester.

You can bring your prototype parts for the DfAM assignment to my office tomorrow at 2pm or Wednesday at 2pm. (35-212, down the hall from 35-225, toward mass ave)

And, if your project team would like to meet during class time on Wednesday this week, please let me know.

We will have a wrap-up discussion on Monday, May 14. Then the project presentations on Wednesday, May 16.

Therefore I ask you to keep your talk to 5-7 minutes-- and focus on the key points across and give 1-2 minutes for questions.

Additive manufacturing - final software reminder

All- if you want full access to Generate or Liveparts for the DfAM assignment, you must follow the directions here by tonight or it will be too late. Sorry but no exceptions because we have to contact the company every time another person signs up and this is my third message with the same request. All names on the list now have been processed.
