Deadline - clarification

Hi Class -- We have given an extension to one student. We would strongly prefer that you get the paper in by Sunday Dec 29 at noon or as close to that time as possible. We need to submit the grades before the deadline. However, if you need an extra day or two (max) because of the holidays, we understand. But as I said, if you can make the 29th at noon, that would be very helpful. Thanks, Leah

Course evaluations

Hi Class -- As I mentioned on Tuesday, only 4 out of 11 of you have filled out the course evaluation - the deadline is Monday at 9 AM: http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation

As we all remember from our survey design class, we aim for a representative sample, so it would be wonderful to have all of you fill them out. When you are a TA and/or Professor, you'll appreciate students filling out the evaluations in high numbers as well.

Hope you're all happy that the final day of classes has come and gone. Congratulations on making it through your first semester as a PhD student! Big accomplishment. It was great getting to know every one of you -- I look forward to hearing where your research takes you over the coming years, from the FYP to your dissertation proposal and beyond. I know Gabriella, JoAnn and I all hope that 11.233 provided useful ideas and lessons that stay with you throughout your academic careers.

Hi Class -- A few announcements

1) The feedback for your peer reviews is posted.

2) Your proposals are still being graded. You will have 1 week from when Gabriella hands them back to submit them to us. We'll confirm the deadline on Tuesday.

3) Amy Glasmeier would like to see the final proposal to aid in the transition to 11.800, just FYI. So we'll be passing them along.
