Presentation Formats & Grading of Final Projects

Dear Students,
This note concerns with the Final Project, presentation formats as well as grading. I believe it is better to be as transparent as possible to set you for success.

On the Final Project SUBMISSION. Kindly, load up your presentation on to Stellar no later than 1PM of May 11 or May 18th, based on when you are going to present.

On the Final Project PRESENTATION. You will have 5 minutes. Devon will be the time keeper and will give you 2 minute and 1 minute warnings. We suggest you follow the following format:
(1) Show your original systems drawing --- the one you did in PS#1. This will let the audience see your original system.
(2) Present your Systems Visualization.
(3) If time is remaining, some audience q&a will be possible.

On the Final Project GRADING. Here is how you will be assessed:
(1) Visual Metaphor - 20%
(2) Data Representation - 20%
(3) Narrative Story (the evoking of the Conflict) -20%
(4) The System Interactions (and modes) - 20%
(5) Effort and Attention to Detail - 20%
(6) Organization of Presentation - 20%

Note: We expect you to have somewhere a list of references (even in fine print) in standard bibliography style for sources of data.

Best of luck,
VAS
