Ex 2 - Reduction in readingsw

Hi All --
Some of you are feeling that there is a lot of material to go through for the 2nd exercise, and that is true.  Also, some of you have learned that for 15616, I limited the number of classes which would be covered in the 2nd exercise.  I did that in 15616 because some of the guest lecturers did not provide material suitable for an exercise question.  But now there is a fairness issue of 15615 seeming to be more of a burden.  And it is also true that some of the classes in 15615 are less suitable than others as a basis for a question on the exercise.
So I have decided to cut out some of the material for the second exercise in 15615.
According to the syllabus, you were responsible for classes 7-19.
However, the exercise will NOT draw on the following material:   class 8 (Akula - International), Class 13 (Joung - Venture capital),  class 15 (Stone -- Running a public company), class 16 (Lloyd - Insider trading), or class 19 (Meldman - patents).
You WILL be reponsible for the material in the following classes:  class 7 (Akula - Basic features of the US legal system), classes 9 & 10 (Batter -- Leaving a company), classes 11&12 (Hadzima -- Setting up the new venture),  class 14 (Stone -- Going public), and classes 17 & 18 (Rodriques -- Employment).
Hope this is helpful.  I've also sent this out as an e-mail.
John
