class Nov 16 update
I have added another reading, a draft on features of pronouns bymyself. I will probably end up talking mostly about that and the
related paper by Rullmann 2003, and may not really get to dependent
plurals after all.

class Nov 16
This Friday, I want to talk about number marking in bound plural pronouns as well as in so-called dependent plurals. A good basic introduction to both topics is found in Kamp & Reyle's 1993 DRT textbook. As it happens, Dimitriadis briefly summarizes most of this in his thesis, which I already posted a link to a few weeks ago. (See pp. 75 - 88.) I have also uploaded copies of links to a few short recent papers that address these topics: Rullmann's WECOL paper on plural pronouns, and papers by Spector and by Zweig on dependent plurals.We will meet at MIT.
