One Last Survey Reminder
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to send out one last reminder to ask that you please fill out the course feedback survey at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PDD2010survey
Only 39 of you have completed the survey so far and I know we can do better than that. I know you're all busy finishing up the semester, but you all have a nice block of open time from 1 to 2:30 this afternoon. Hopefully you can find a spare 5 minutes during that time to provide some valuable feedback on the course.
Good luck with the rest of your finals!

Tuesday's Class and Final Presentation Follow-Up
Thanks to all of you for doing a great job on Saturday and
making the final presenation day a big success. The guest
panelists were all really impressed with your projects and gave
very positive feedback.
Tuesday's Class
Tomorrow will be an opportunity to reflect on how the course went and provide feedback to the faculty on things you liked and disliked. There will be some coffee and refreshments there for you to enjoy. Along with filling out the official MIT course feedback form, we will have a class discussion about ways to improve the class.
We are also asking you to fill out an additional, more comprehensive survey, that will give the faculty detailed feedback on how to improve the class for future years. This survey will be conducted online. Please bring your laptops to class to fill out the survey. Alternatively, if you would prefer to fill out the survey in advance, it can be found here.
Presentation Feedback
We will have the feedback forms that our guest panelists filled out available for your teams to pick up during class tomorrow. These forms include the score that the panelists gave your group across 4 different criteria along with written comments. Please note that while averaging the scores from the forms your receive will give you a rough idea of your total score, this is not completely accurate. The course faculty reserve some discretion to assign different weights to panelists who are more or less familiar with the class and the expectations of your projects.
Lost and Found
A medium-sized blue Staples notebook was found in the room after the presentations on Saturday. If this is yours, please come claim it from me during class tomorrow. Also, the Urban Cart team is missing the sheet that used to cover their cart before the unveiling. If you picked up a sheet or saw where it went, please let me know.
Thanks again to everyone for a great semester! See you all tomorrow.

Final Deliverables
As your teams are finishing up your final presentations,
please remember that you have several submission requirements due
on Saturday as well. You will need to submit your final
presentations along with several high-quality digital photos of
your prototype. These files can either be uploaded to Stellar
or handed directly to the TAs on CD or jump drive. The
syllabus has additional information on these deliverables.
Let us know if you have any questions.

Final Presentation Schedule
Hi Everyone,
We have a great day planned for Saturday and we hope you're as excited about it as we are. We will be joined by several guests from industry and academia who are all very excited to see your presentations and learn more about your projects. The day is really about you though--it's a chance for you to show off all the hard work you've done this semester and see what your classmates have been up to as well.
As Professor Eppinger mentioned in class, the presentations will be this Saturday, May 8, in MIT room E51-345 (next door to our normal classroom). The day will kick off at 9AM with coffee and pastries and the program will begin at 9:30AM. The day will wrap up shortly after 4PM. Here is the complete schedule:
9:00 AM Coffee and Pastries
9:30 AM Introduction
9:45 AM DtM Infant Phototherapy
10:15 AM Coffee Mug
10:45 AM Break
11:00 AM Infant Sleep Positioner
11:30 AM Intel Extreme Computing
12:00 PM Urban Cart
12:30 PM Lunch
1:15 PM Sustainable Transportation Center
1:45 PM Lighting a Billion Lives
2:15 PM ViaNokia - Mobile Search
2:45 PM Break
3:00 PM Cereral Packaging
3:30 PM Kachikamo - Bike Helmet
4:00 PM Conclucing Remarks
4:10 PM Adjournment
Each team will have a 30 minute time slot. Of that time, you should plan on an 18 to 20 minute presentation with 10 minutes for Q&A. Please work with each other (or me if you need assistance) to get presentations consolidated onto one computer for each section of the day and ensure that your A/V setup works properly.
We do expect that you are in attendance for the full day to support your classmates and learn about their projects.
