Course Evaluations
A reminder to everyone that course evaluations are due by
TOMORROW at 9 AM. As of present, only 17/49 of you have completed
an evaluation for 10.65. This is very poor. The professors and TAs
read all of your comments and design the course in future years to
respond to what you felt was most or least useful. Please help us
out with your feedback.

Final Exam
The 10.65 final exam will be on Monday, May 21, from 1:30
pm-4:30 pm in Walker Memorial. As was the case with the first two
exams, you should plan to arrive early so that we can begin
promptly at 1:30. You are encouraged to bring a calculator to the
exam. You may also bring with you any notes that you have taken
over the course of this semester, your graded homeworks and exams,
and/or any material posted on this year's Stellar
site. Please feel free to email the TAs or the professors if it is
not clear what you are allowed or encouraged to use on the
final.
Good luck,

Spring 2010 & 2011 Final Exams Posted
Final exams from 2010 and 2011 with solutions have been posted
on Stellar. These will be the only practice problems distributed
for studying purposes. Please remember that content is covered in a
slightly different order every year, so some past exam questions
may not have been covered in depth on this year's homework.
Remember that you are responsible only for what has been covered
through homework 8, the assigned reading materials, and general
concepts & in-class exercises taught in lecture. If there are
specific questions on what is testable on the final exam, please
direct those to Profs. Strano or Sikes.
Grades for HW7 have also been uploaded to Stellar. Please verify the accuracy of these scores.

Office Hours 5/7 and 5/8
Today (5/7) and tomorrow (5/8) in office hours we will have a
brief discussion of competing external transport, internal
diffusion, and reaction rate limiting kinetics for catalyst
particles (and the analogy to enzymes). The material covered each
day will be the same, so you will only need to attend one office
hour to receive the information. The schedule will be:
5-5:30: Competing transport and reaction limited rates
5:30-7: Open Q&A on homework and lecture material
