hi, all, one last reminder -- spring semester evaluations (http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation) are due tomorrow by 9 AM.  If you haven't already, please take a few minutes to fill out an evaluation -- your feedback will be very helpful in our efforts to revise/improve the course for next year.

hi, all, two quick announcements:

(1) Spring semester evaluations (http://web.mit.edu/subjectevaluation) opened today.  /Please/ take a few minutes to fill out an evaluation before the deadline (Monday, May 21 at 9 AM) -- your feedback will be very helpful in our efforts to revise/improve the course for next year.

(2) If you are interested in attending the NBER Children's meeting this coming Thursday (http://www.nber.org/confer/2012/CHEDs12/program.htm) please drop me an e-mail -- Janet Currie mentioned that she is happy to have a few students attend the meeting.  Many of the papers are related to the "early childhood" topics we discussed on Monday, so if that lecture peaked your interest and you'd like to attend the meeting please drop me an e-mail by the end of the day tomorrow (Wednesday) to let me know.  Depending on the level of interest, I'll follow-up with people who are interested if we get to a point of needing to ration attendance slots.

For the 662 dinner on Friday night, we have a group reservation for 6pm at the Similans.  David and I will leave from the E52 lobby at 5.45pm to walk a group over to the restaurant (it's a short walk away), or people can meet us there.

The restaurant asked us for a final headcount so that they can plan accordingly.  Please send me a short e-mail by the end of the day on Wednesday to let me know whether or not you'll be able to join the dinner.

hi, all: I just posted problem set #4 to the course website; this will be due Wednesday 16 May before class.

hi, all, with apologies for the change in plans, it turns out that I'm not going to have time to cover the Charles-Guryan (2008) paper in class on Monday.  I've instead asked Danielle to cover this paper in section on Wednesday.  The paper is still worth reading - in part because I expect reading it will help you get more out of section on Wednesday - but no need to send me comments for Monday.
