11.478, Final Reminder

11.478 class,

What a great round of presentations today and a rousing end to the semester! It was great having each of you in class and learning from each other’s perspectives.

Remember that the final report is due via email and in the group Dropbox before midnight, tonight. The Revised Report should include:
1. Full Report with revisions
2. Summary of responses to Full Report comments - explain why you chose to maker (or not to make) certain revisions based on feedback. This can be a separate document or an appendix within the full revised report.

We hope everyone has a successful end to finals week and a great summer!

P.S. A student left a green water bottle on the ledge by the window in room 10-401 after the presentations. If this is yours, please email jcmoody@mit.edu. Joanna has it in her office.

Project Showcase and Final Reports

Hello class,

Happy finals week! We have our last gathering as a class tomorrow, Tuesday May 17, 2016 for our Final Project Showcase. The class will be held from 12:00-2:00pm (note the different time) in our usual room, 10-401. Lunch and refreshments will be served.

Each group will be presenting for 10 minutes (we are very strict about the time!), followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. In order to facilitate the schedule, each group must upload their presentation (PowerPoint, Keynote, or PDF) to the shared dropbox and email it to jcmoody@mit.edu by 11:00am. Joanna will load all of the presentations onto a single computer.

Finally, Revised Final Project Reports are also due tomorrow. As with the previous report, these documents must be uploaded to the shared group Dropbox and emailed to Joanna and Tim.

Please let us know if there are any questions/concerns about these last few class items.

We are looking forward to a great set of presentations tomorrow!

Updated Project Showcase Schedule

Hi all,

There are a number of students in the class who have time constraints on May 17, so we have rearranged the Project Showcase Schedule and updated the project titles based on the final reports received last night. The new version has been posted to Stellar in the "General" folder.

Please check that your group's information is correct. If you have not already, let us know if there is a conflict with your schedule and the ordering of the groups.

P.S. Joanna is ordering the lunch for the Showcase so please let her know if you have any specific dietary restrictions. Vegetarians, I already have you covered...
