As you may know, John, Matt, Bethany, and I, with our student allies and partners across MIT Sloan, have been working hard to increase both the quantity and quality of MIT Sloan's programming in sustainability and social impact. Our goal is to be the #1 destination for people who want to be leaders in sustainable business.
To achieve this goal, we have to make our efforts visible to the world. One important channel for reaching both prospective students and recruiting organizations committed to social change is through NetImpact. Each year the national NetImpact organization assembles profiles of business schools and publishes a ranking. In fact it is the only impact-focused ranking scheme that MIT Sloan participates in.
A key data source for the NetImpact ranking is a student survey they deploy each year, which is currently active. On behalf of both the Initiative and the NetImpact club, we would like you to please fill out the survey before class on Wednesday. Be honest and authentic - share your real thoughts about our work, because we know we still have a long way to go. We will all benefit, however, from a high response rate on this survey.
In class on Wednesday, Matt will ask for a show of hands of who has filled it out so we can get a sense of the participation rates.
All the best,
Jason

Dear Class,As a reminder, please see the attendance policy for class below.
By Sloan policy, absence due to job interviews or attendance at
co-curricularevents is not excused. MIT Sloan requires that
