new lecture notes and homework
Dear students,
I have posted a new version of the lecture notes that includes what I talked about in yesterday's class, and some more (formalization of the recipe to cook up partitions from Karttunen-denotations, the new update rule, section on WH-licensing principle, some added footnotes in the first few pages which relate to your questions). Please study this by Monday and send me any questions (especially if you didn't send me any for the last class!).
There is also a new homework: the two exercises on the last page (p. 11) are assigned for Monday, April 11. (Not this coming Monday – but remember that today is the due date for your squib proposals!)
Best,
Irene
