Information:
Advanced introduction to numerical linear algebra. Topics
include direct and iterative methods for linear systems, eigenvalue
decompositions and QR/SVD factorizations, stability and accuracy of
numerical algorithms, the IEEE floating point standard, sparse and
structured matrices, preconditioning, linear algebra software.
Problem sets require some knowledge of Matlab.

Dear class,Laslo has now graded Homework 6, you can pick it up in my office but call or send me an e-mail first to make sure I am there. The Singapore homeworks should have arrived today or maybe tomorrow. The solutions are posted on the web.
Also, tomorrow (Friday) is the last day to submit the online evaluations, please do so if you have a chance and have not done it already:
