Exam #3 Return Policy and Course Regrade Policy
Exam 3 Solutions
Exam #3 solutions will be posted once the final conflict exams are completed later in IAP. An announcement will be sent to the class at that time.
Exam Return Policy
1. Exams will be available to pick up from Kim Scantlebury (E52-252, kscants@mit.edu ) between January 26 - January 30 and between February 2 - February 6. Exams will generally be available between 9am-4pm. These dates are tentative and are subject to revision. Please check the course announcements page for any updates before attempting to pick up your exam.
2. After February 6, exams will no longer be available on demand, but will only be available by appointment with David Brown ( dwalton@mit.edu ). Please make every possible effort to retrieve an uncollected exam by February 6.
Regrade Policy
If, after carefully considering the merit of your solutions, you find that your exam was unfairly graded (or you find a summation error), you may submit a request for a regrade. However, the course policy is that the entire exam, not just the disputed questions, will be regraded. Thus, your score may be adjusted downward based on the merit of your entire exam. In the event that a regrade request consists ONLY of a summation error, the exam will NOT be re-graded, and only the summation error will be corrected.
To request a regrade, you must submit your graded exam with an attached sheet explaining which question(s) and for what reason(s) your score should be adjusted to the mail folder marked 'David Brown' on the third floor of E52 (around back near the vending machines). If you cannot find the graduate mail folders, please email David Brown (dwalton@mit.edu).
All regrade requests must be submitted NO LATER THAN February 13th.

Review Exercise 11 (OPTIONAL)
UPDATE: Solutions will be posted on Monday. Please do not simply read through the solutions, but rather attempt to work through the exercises beforehand.
In an effort to provide practice exercises covering more recent chapters to students in advance of Exam #3, Review Exercise 11 has been posted under the 'Materials' page on the Stellar site.
Please note that Review Exercise 11 is NOT a problem set, will NOT be collected, will NOT be graded, and will NOT be required. It is an optional set of exercises that students are encouraged to complete in preparation for Exam #3.
