MIT JAIM Fall 2012

Volume 5 of the MIT Journal of Advanced Instrumentation and Measurement is now available!

It has been both a pleasure and a privilege working with such an outstanding group of talented individuals this semester. I've learned a great deal from you all and I hope that there was some reciprocity. Each and every one of you should be extremely proud of what you've accomplished over these past four months.

Nuggets, Final Presentation and Paper

It's the final countdown (Europe 1986). Grades will be finalized tomorrow, so please take a moment to double check the Gradebook to ensure that you've received credit for all of your passing nugget submissions. Also, remember that all outstanding nugget submissions should be sent to the appropriate nugget professors by tonight at the latest.

Also, please email me your final report (PDF and original source files) as well as your final presentation (PDF and original source files) by 11:00 AM tomorrow (Friday, December 21). I will compile the papers and post the Fall 2012 issue of the Journal of Advanced Instrumentation and Measurement in the coming days.

Lecture and Nuggets

In lieu of Thursday's lecture, Prof. Hunter will be teaching the Visual Basic Programming nugget in his office (3-154). If you plan on attending the nugget, please bring a Y2K compliant notebook computer with an installed copy of Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows Desktop.

Following the nugget, Prof. Hunter will be available for Impedance Analysis and Dynamic Signal Analysis nugget check-offs.

Wire EDM Back Up and Running

For those who have yet to complete the Wire EDM Nugget, the machine is back up and running. There was a wire lodged in the threading path.
