Soutions to old finals
I posted handwritten solutions to old final exams on Stellar.
I had to write them up today, I did not have old, verified
solutions. So please be skeptical abotu the exact answers and
apologies for my handwriting. But the general methods and approach
should be OK.
Good luck!

Final exam preparations
Final Exam for 8.03 will be in Walker Memorial (our usual
place) at 9 AM on Friday. The exam will be 3 hours.
You are allowed to bring one page, double sided formula sheet with you. The exam will also have its own formula sheet. Calculators will not be needed and they are not allowed.
I will post hints to solutions to the old final exams on Thursday early evening after the review session.
All grades for Psets 1-9 are posted and up to date. All changes to your Quiz grades should be there as well. We are still waiting for PS10 from some of you, we hope to get into Stellar soon.
Good luck in preparing for the 8.03 exam (and with your other exams..)

Guest lecture today
Dear students,
the lecture today was aimed in good part to show you some of what awaits beyond 8.03 with the knowledge that you have acquired in 8.03. I went over the material faster than I expected you to follow, and much of it you will only really understand after having taken quantum physics. However, the first part of the lecture is nicely covered in the Feynman lecture that is posted here under materials. I have also posted a Physics Today article on Electromagnetically Induced Transparency. That is certainly not relevant for the final, although I hope that you may enjoy reading it a little.
