Reminder: test tomorrow.

The test is in Walker tomorrow; 12:05 to 12:55.

The material covered by the exam will be the material covered in class from modular arithmetic to linear codes and Hamming codes.

The same rules apply as on the previous tests. Calculators are allowed but not necessary. You are allowed two one-sided pages of notes (or one two-sided page).

Solutions have been posted to all the problem sets (pset 9 this morning, pset 8 and practice exam questions earlier this week).

writing office hours

Dear Class,

My drop-in writing office hours are Monday 3-4pm.

As always, feel free to sign up for a different time to meet one-on-one:

Reminder: there are 60 or so students in the class and the number of available time slots is decreasing as the end of the term approaches. So if you'd like to meet with me one-on-one to discuss your term paper, it's wise to sign up for a time sooner rather than later.

I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving break.

Susan
