Wednesday Review Session, Office Hours, Problem Sets

Dear all,

This Wednesday (May 14) I will be holding a review session during our regular class time and in the usual classroom. Please send me your questions about the last part of the course (i.e. after midterm 2) so that this session can be as useful as possible.

On Friday (May 16), I will be holding regular office hours from 10-12 in E52-244. Also, I will have extra office hours next week on Tuesday from 2-3pm (room to be announced).

Finally, Problem Sets 6 have been graded and can be picked up during the review session or office hours. I will post suggested solutions soon.

Best,

Leopoldo

Chris's office hours moved this week

Dear class,

I am out of town on Thursday and Friday, so my office hours will be moved to Wednesday (tomorrow) from 4-5PM. Stop by my office, E52-351, to find out the location of office hours. I will still be accessible via email this weekend if you have pset questions.

Problem Set 6 Posted, Recitation Tomorrow

Dear all,

Pset 6 is posted and is due in recitation next week. This might take a while, so start early! Recall 5 (out of 6) psets are counted towards your grade, but even if you have done well on 5 so far, solving pset 6 is good practice for the exam.

In recitation tomorrow I will answer questions and provide a basic review of the insurance under asymmetric information model studied in lecture. I will cover the case of cross-subsidy in this model which we did not get to cover in lecture. Finally, we will discuss the 2003 final exam exercise on signaling, as an introduction to the next topic in class.

Best,
Leopoldo
