A highly recommended reading that you will find useful has been posted under "Lecture 8" materials. It is titled "Methods for the Evaluation and Comparison of Transportation System Projects", and it nicely supplements the FHWA primer we had you read a few days ago.

For those of you who missed the announcements during last class:

1. The "expert panel" meetings will take place this Friday, Feb. 27th as follows:
     - "No Build": Prof. Sussman @ 1pm in room 1-163
     - "Highways": Travis @ Recitation (11-12, room 5-134)
     - "Rail Upgrade": Travis @ Recitation
     - "Mixed": Travis @ Recitation
     - "HSR": David @ Recitation
     - "MAGLEV"" Prof. Sussman @ 2pm in room 1-163.
For those meeting with Prof. Sussman, if there are any conflicts with the times please make sure you talk to those attending to see if you can get their notes from the meeting.

2. The due date for Portugal Assignment # 1 (P1) has moved to Friday, March 6th @ 5pm.
