Exam Pickup, Regrading Policy, and Other Inquiries
- Exam Pickup. Graded exams are available from Ruth Levitsky, the Course Administrator, in E52-252.
- Regrading Policy. Regrades on Problem Sets and on Exams #1 and #2 will no longer be considered. Regrades on Exam #3 will be considered up to June 12, but only if the requested regrade entails a change of at least 20 points. A student who seeks reconsideration of the grade on Exam #3 must submit the following to the Course Administrator: (a) the original, unaltered copy of the entire exam; and (b) a cover memorandum explaining in detail which questions are at issue and, for each question at issue, the basis for contesting the grade that was given. Requests for regrades entailing less than 20 points will not be considered. A Note on Academic Honesty: Altering an exam after the fact in order to obtain a more favorable grade is regarded as a serious violation of MIT's rules of academic honesty.
- Other Inquiries. We congratulate our TAs on a job well done. Many will be graduating from MIT shortly. Now that the semester is over, please direct all other inquiries to the Course Administrator or to Prof. Harris.
