I ment to write earlier today but alas, we had a 5-6 hour power outage. It started before and ended after the academy awards, so we learned it all without the suspense... bummer!

I posted an article titled "Boeing vs. Airbus" on Stellar. Please read it before the Tuesday lecture, and think about the following questions:

1. Why did Mr. Dupuy first needed to woo Boeing to the table? Was this not attractive for Boeing?

2. What is the benefit of Iberia gong all Airbus? What's the drawback?

3. What do you think is the benefit of multiple rounds of bidding negotiations?

4. What is the benefit of having a "target price"? What is the drawback?

Also, there will be one more case to read for Wednesday: "Performance Pay at Safelite Autoglass." I forgot that I don't have the ability to pu HBS stuff on Stellar, so I asked for some help with this and hopefully it will be all set by Tuesday morning.

So much to learn, so little time...
