The CMS Media Spectacle showcases video projects of all genres created by MIT students, staff, faculty and affiliates. To submit an entry, send your video on playable DVD to:

Prize categories include the Chris Pomiecko Award for Best Undergraduate Entry, the Claude Berry Award for Best Non-undergraduate Entry, as well as prizes for Best Animation, Experimental, Narrative, Nonfiction, and Audience Favorite.

Please include with your DVD: contact email, video title, brief description, and running time. The maximum running time is 20 minutes. The deadline for submissions is April 14. Contact bshep@mit.edu if you have any questions.

Alteration of reading assignment for Feb. 23

The essay by Erwin Panofksy listed as one of the readings for Feb. 23, "Style and Medium in the Motion Pictures," is actually more relevant to next week's assignment and should be deferred until then. It will be posted with the readings for March 3.

All of the other assigned readings for Feb. 23 are now posted on Stellar.
