Grades Available

Dear all,

Your 15.012 grades will be officially posted in a few weeks, but if you can't wait to hear the news, please send an email to Rose Ziv (roseziv@mit.edu).

Also, the Sloanies behind Junar are eager to hear about your experience with their website and with the Macro Dashboard they prepared for our class. They are raffling a Kindle among those who help them out by filling out this brief 8 question survey, which shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.  http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ WVRBFLB
If you have extra time and want to double your chances to win the Kindle, please contact Max Faingezicht (maxf@mit.edu) to schedule a quick 1:1 feedback session.

I hope you are enjoying your classes in H2, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Best,
Alberto

Thanks and Class

First, thanks to everybody for making this half-semester such a great experience. As Alberto and I said, we will not forget you. Although I am quite sure I would love to forget student fish i won't.
Second, for those that were unable to attend the last class from the C section i will send an email with all your emails (the ones that contacted me) and try to find a day so we can have that discussion ourselves.
Finally, the RUN. Alexandra's team run in the first heat (the slowest). Three heats and 25 teams. They ran in the Amory track, which is the place for the hall of fame of HS track. There were 14 teams in division 3 and two division 4. They came in third among that group, and 14 overall!
Of course they were all disappointed and feeling like losers for not winning everything. The team that won ran 0.96 seconds more than the national record, and they had the fourth best time in US history (for high school of course). Kind of hard to compete with that.
So I gave them a motivational talk afterwards, using a lot of examples from Brazil, Canada and France. Not surprisingly, just after I started talking about Belgium they felt quite well. Again, thanks so much for allowing me to be part of this extraordinary experience.
All the best. RR.
