For class on Monday we will play a computerized game on dual sourcing in class.  We'll try to do this in your groups -- but possibly will combine some groups, depending on attendance.

For preparation, please review the spreadsheet posted on the class web site and devise an ordering policy.  The spreadsheet provides some comparable data sets for demand, as well as a capability to test ordering strategies.

Each group will need a laptop with an internet connection -- so please make sure you have one for your group.

There is nothing to hand in for this class.

Yehua and I will hold a joint office hour tomorrow, 10:30am-11:30am. The room is E62-474.

The original assignment (due May 2) requires use of software that only runs on Windows XP -- which is now not possible for most groups.

So I have added a second flexibility assignment (due May 9).  Your requirement is to do one of these, either the one due May 2 (requries Windows XP) or the other assignment (due May 9, requires no software).

In the syllabus, we had listed another "TBD assignment" due on May 9 -- this is not going to happen;  I expect to ask you to do some modest preparation for May 9 class, but there will be no written assignment for that class.
