Final Exam

Just a reminder that the final exam is tomorrow, 9am-12noon at Johnson Track, W35.

You will be recieving tables, they are posted in the materials section.

Practice Final 1 Solutions

The solutions to practice final 1 have been reposted. The solution to problem 7 has been amended slightly to account for what the question actually asked. The solution to problem 9 has been completely rewritten- the previous answer was incorrect and used bad notation. Please take a look at the new solution, as it corresponds to what you need to know.

Inconsistent notation on solutions to Practice Exam 1 (will be corrected shortly)

The answer to 9 on Practice Exam 1 will need to be corrected. It uses the letter D for something else besides determinant (something known as the discriminant). Chris will fix this shortly; I don't have the file or I would do it myself. (The use of the letter D is defined in the answers and the answers are right, but the notation will get you confused.)
