two-dimensional signals. Digital signal processing theories used
for digital image processing, including one-dimensional and
two-dimensional convolution, Fourier transform, discrete Fourier
transform and discrete cosine transform. Image processing basics.
Image enhancement. Image Restoration. Image coding and compression.
Video processing including video coding and compression. Additional
topics including digital high definition television
systems.
