Grades are in; Portfolios are ready for pickup

Dear 16.00 Students,
Well, it's been a long weekend, but your accident reports and the portfolios are all graded and ready for pickup in my office (37-227). In case you have already finished your finals and left (lucky!!) you can pick them up in the fall. I will keep them in my office until the beginning of S13 16.00 next February. Also, 16.00 grades are now in.
As a reminder, please fill in the on-line course evaluation form.
It's been a great spring. I hope you all enjoyed taking the class as much as I enjoyed teaching it.

Dropping off portfolios

16.00 students -
I left a box outside my office for you to drop off your portfolios this evening. However, I have been informed by several students that there is nothing there, so it seems that despite my sign to leave it, the cleaners may have taken it away. If you have not yet turned in your portfolios, you may do so tomorrow morning (Friday). Sorry for the inconvenience.

THANKS FOR A GREAT FIELD DAY SPECTACLE!

I saw a few 16.00 students watching our flight teams wrestle with the elements. To those of you who participated, many thanks. I think you all saw how much the spectators enjoyed watching you, and from my point of view it looked like all the participating teams were having a great time. Depending on the wind, it was a mixture of blimp flying and kite flying. You can certainly see why we fly indoors, and hopefully it will give you some respect for blimp pilots. Think what it must be like flying the Goodyear blimp in any sort of significant wind!
Anyway, thanks again. This was a great advertisement for Aero/Astro as well as being a nice reward for all the hard work you put into the LTA project. The vehicles looked pretty sad after 45 minutes of being pummelled by the wind, but as long as the motors and servos get back to the lab, all's well that ends well.

Returning Supplies and Clean Up

Hey 16.00,

Great job on Killian court! I hope you guys had as much fun as I did.

Ben and I will be in the hangar to collect supplies tomorrow, 5/18 2-3PM right after the aero/astro BBQ. Please make sure to be there during that time to turn in supplies and clean up your area.

If you cannot make that time, let us know ASAP so we can coordinate a new time.

PS: Team Septimate - I have received everything except your motors and props. Please bring those in tomorrow 2-3PM.
