Final Exam Grades Available
Dear 8.06,Your final exam grades are now available on Stellar. I have put the final exam and solutions on Stellar as well.
This was a challenging exam, and overall I am proud of your performance given the length and difficulty of the problems. The average grade was 125/180 with a standard deviation of 24 (70% +/- 13%).
We will finalize and submit your letter grades tomorrow. Please check that all of your PSET scores are entered into Stellar, and tell me by 1pm tomorrow (Thursday) if there is an issue.
It has been a great semester, and I want to thank you all for your enthusiasm in exploring the quantum world. I wish all of you every success in your future endeavors, and have a wonderful summer.

PSET 10: 1E
In pset 10 problem 1 (e), since the solid angle covered by the detector stays the same, one should not divide by sin(pi/2) and multiply by sin(theta), but simply multiply by sin(pi/4)^2 and divide by sin(theta/2)^2 - the solution had extra sin(theta) terms.

Office Hours on Monday
